We were down 2-0 in the third, and the NY goalie was playing lights out. I was lucky to bank it off the post to make it 2-1.  Unfortunately that is the only goal we could get by her.  But it was an exciting final 5 minutes.

Leena (#8) passes to re-enter the zone, but then never touches the puck. As a center, she controls her position away from the puck to provide support. At the end, she covers as the D goes in to score the GWG.

At the end of National Championship game, we had to kill at penalty late in the game when we were down by 1. I had played over half the game and was exhausted, but managed to pick myself up after falling and get on the forecheck to kill time

After I scored to bring us within a goal, the player on the other team has really upset with herself (crying, etc.). When she finally came to the face-off dot, I gave her a tap and told her she was OK.
